WaterLinks: Non-Revenue Water Masterclass

In response to the need to address non-revenue water (NRW), WaterLinks developed a Master Class on this topic, which was held on Feb. 24-26, 2015 in Oakwood Hotel, Pasig, Philippines.

There were 28 water utility personnel who attended the Master Class coming from Cambodia, Indonesia, Papua New Guinea, Taiwan, Vietnam and the Philippines. This particular Master Class was anchored with Miya Philippines with Mr. Roland Liemberger as the Course Director. Miya is a global provider of comprehensive urban water efficiency solutions, including non-revenue water (NRW) reduction by tackling both real/physical losses (leaks) and apparent/commercial (water theft or lack of proper billing). The 3-day training was designed for Chief Executive Officers and top management personnel of water utilities to equip them with the basic understanding on NRW management and their crucial role in addressing NRW challenges within their respective utilities.
